Course description
In this 5 day workshop, you will design and build your own small table while gaining a strong foundation in essential woodworking techniques. You will learn to use both hand and power tools safely and effectively, with a focus on precision and craftsmanship. The course will cover fundamental joinery methods, including the strength and durability of mortise and tenon joints, as well as key considerations in working with wood, like grain direction, grain graphics, and natural wood movement. Through guided instruction you will explore design principles, problem-solving strategies, and finishing techniques, resulting in a completed table that reflects both your creativity and growing woodworking skills. Suitable for beginners and intermediate woodworkers. All tools and materials will be provided.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a class please let us know right away. If a wait-listed student is ready to take your place we will refund the class minus a 4% cancellation fee to cover our banking costs. Otherwise our cancellation fees are as follows: Classes canceled 5 days or more before start date: Refund minus 10% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 5 days before start date: Refund minus 50% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 2 days before start date: No Refunds Given.
