Intermediate Woodworking Weekend
Sat May 30th and Sun May 31st 2026. 9am to 5pm each day.
Course description
This class is intended for anyone who has already taken our Beginners Woodworking Weekend or those with some previous woodworking experience. You will put the skills from the beginners class into a new project - a small decorative hardwood box. You will learn to cut basic joinery (dowels, grooves, etc) with hand held and machine routers and use hand tools (planes and chisels) to perfectly fit a lid to the box. As always - the box itself would make a great gift for yourself or others but the main purpose of the course is to gain the skills and confidence to undertake your own projects.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a class please let us know right away. If a wait-listed student is ready to take your place we will refund the class minus a 4% cancellation fee to cover our banking costs. Otherwise our cancellation fees are as follows: Classes canceled 5 days or more before start date: Refund minus 10% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 5 days before start date: Refund minus 50% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 2 days before start date: No Refunds Given.
