Course description
In this class you will be creating a 3D puzzle made exclusively with hand tools. This woodworking class lays the foundation for many theoretical and practical skills. The class will address basic techniques for using squares, marking gauges, Japanese saws, mallets and chisels. Chisel sharpening will also be taught. The main focus will be to practice achieving precision for a successful result in basic joinery. This class is suitable for beginner woodworkers or anyone new to hand tool woodworking.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a class please let us know right away. If a wait-listed student is ready to take your place we will refund the class minus a 4% cancellation fee to cover our banking costs. Otherwise our cancellation fees are as follows: Classes canceled 5 days or more before start date: Refund minus 10% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 5 days before start date: Refund minus 50% cancellation fee. Classes canceled less than 2 days before start date: No Refunds Given.
